You don’t have to walk far in Northern Liberties to stumble upon new projects being built. The Franklin Court Townhomes at 7th and Fairmount are but only one development in this hub of new constructions. These modern townhomes boast a spacious, open layout along with 2,475 sqft of living space and start at $450,000. They have 3 levels of space with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is exquisite, and it even comes with the option to select cabinets and countertops ranging from Dark Sable or White Maple cabinetry to Granite or Quartz counter tops. The kitchen even has an island for additional counter space.

There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom located on the second floor along with a laundry closet. On the third lies the beautiful master suite which has ample closet space and large windows to allow natural light to flood the room.  If you think no expense was spared now, wait until you see the master bathroom. It features a stall shower and double sinks and beautiful fixtures that give it a most luxurious feel. Also located on the third floor is a wet bar complete with sink and cabinets and a roof deck perfect for indoor or outdoor entertaining.

As if all that wasn’t enough, the homes offer unparalleled to public transportation, public highways and Center City. It is also close to multiple recreational parks within walking distance of the homes. There is even a variety of shopping and restaurant options close by. These homes are another welcome addition to the area. Hopefully, we don’t see a slowdown in development anytime soon.

New Project at 2401 Washington Avenue

by: Karley Cohen

A budding project is coming to fruition at 2401 Washington Avenue.  On January 22, plans were presented to South of South Neighborhood Association (SOSNA) Zoning Committee.  Currently the space is a vacant lot on the corner of 24th and Washington Avenue.  The plan is to build a 5 story building that has 113 units in it.  The first floor would be a commercial space and parking.
